PARENTS & GUARDIANS

How to register for a tournament

Who registers and pays? Except for the Huskerland State Tournament, parents or guardians register their wrestlers and pay tournament entry fees directly. The club covers the Huskerland State entry fee; the club will announce how families should submit wrestler information for that event.

  1. Find an event. Open the FloWrestling Youth Schedule and use its event search, List view, or Map view.
  2. Check the details. Open the event to review its date, address, age/grade divisions, weight classes, deadline, entry fee, and any required membership.
  3. Register through the event. Select Registration or the event's registration link if one is offered. Some events may send you to Trackwrestling or another organizer's registration page.
  4. Finish and save confirmation. Enter the requested wrestler and parent/guardian information on the organizer's official registration page, complete payment if required, and save the confirmation.

If an event does not show a registration option, check its flyer or contact the organizer. Finding an event on FloWrestling does not necessarily mean online registration is available there. The club does not collect tournament entry payments on this website.

What is an AAU insurance card, and when will my wrestler receive one?

A portion of the club registration fee covers the wrestler’s AAU insurance card, which may be required for many tournaments, including Huskerland State. The club expects to distribute cards by early February. If you need yours sooner, please contact the club.

Does the club provide a wrestling singlet?

Yes. The club plans to check out a KCWC singlet to each wrestler at a practice in early February. If your wrestler needs a singlet before then, please let the club know.

What should we know about parking at practice?

Parking at Kearney Catholic High School (KCHS) can be limited when basketball games or other school events overlap with wrestling practice. Please allow extra time to find a spot on busy evenings. The club will confirm practice entrance and location details separately.

Tournament organizers may change their registration pages or requirements. Always follow the instructions on the specific event page. Club announcements take precedence over general website guidance.
